TEED, Joyce Elaine
November 28, 1937- June 28, 2017- Descendant of Papaschase

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother. She went peacefully at the Misericordia hospital surrounded by family on June 28, 2017.

She is survived by her brother Harry Ward, sisters-in-law Kay Ward and Dorothy Orser, honorary uncle Neil Orser, brother-in-law Herb Teed, daughters Holly and Heather, sons Mark and Robert, grandchildren Andrew, Tegan and Blaize as well as many nieces and nephews and many friends.

Joyce is predeceased by her husband Dennis Teed, brothers Blaine and Ross Ward, sister Madeline Ward and brothers-in-law Ralph and Reganald Teed.

She loved quilting as much as she loved hockey. Many family and friends have her quilts and know that they were made while she watched her Oilers. She was very creative and also loved working on our family history. She was so proud of all that she found out that she could share with us. She has so many binders filled and we hope that one day we can put a book together in her honor.

Joyce (mom) will be greatly missed by all who loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA for her love of animals or to cancer research as she was a breast cancer survivor would be much appreciated by the family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton. Interment to follow at the Riley Cemetery where mom will be laid to rest with our father.
