Robert (Bob) Jones
June 19, 1936 - December 30, 2012
On a sunny Sunday Morning after a long battle with cancer, Joseph Robert William Bruce Jones (“Bob”) of Edmonton, AB passed away peacefully at his home.
Bob is survived by his wife Bernice (“Bunny”); daughter Linda, son-in-law Florian, grandchildren Marissa & Dante; son Bradley, daughter-in-law Lori, grandchildren Kirsten, Brittany, Kalon & Casey; brothers Normand & Jacques, & sister Claudette.
Predeceased by his mother Alda, father Samuel, brothers Roger & George, & sister Jacqueline.
A man who loved his family, especially his grandchildren. A man of many honours, but wanted little recognition. A man who wore many hats in the world. A handyman extraordinaire. A great chef & teacher at NAIT for 20 years, always wanting things done right in the kitchen. Bob opened his home to everyone. He loved fishing, traveling, and the things that meant the most to his family.
You will be missed by all of us Papa. We love you always, you will be in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Autism Society of Edmonton Area, #101 11720 Kingsway Ave, Edmonton, AB, T5G 0X5, or the Canadian Diabetes Association, #1010 Royal Bank Bldg, 10117 Jasper Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T5J 1W8
