ELLIOTT, Elmer Clifford (Tex)

1932 - 2013

This was a man who thought with his heart

His heart was not always wise

This was a man who stumbled and fell

But this was a man who tried

He had a thousand dreams that won’t come true

You know that he believed in them

And that’s enough for you

A man who needs your love can be wonderful

Tex passed away peacefully on June 14 in Lorna’s arms, his partner of 38 years. He was the youngest son of John and Marion Elliott who predeceased him along with 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

He will be remembered by his special nephew Bob (Becky) Elliott, nephew Cliff (Lynette) Clark and niece, Kirby (Ken) Hogenson plus numerous relatives and friends.

Tex was an oil and gas man all his life, spending time in Norman Wells and Zama. He loved to travel, loved flying and was happiest driving down any road.

We wish to thank everyone who worked in Unit 52 of the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their excellent care and thoughtfulness.

At Tex’s request there will not be a funeral or memorial of any kind.
