Margaret Annie (Anne) Enders of Edmonton passed away on October 12, 2013 at 91 years of age.

She is survived by her loving children Don (Ruth) Enders of Tobiano, B.C., and Audrey (Roy) Radcliffe of Gunn, AB; grandchildren Jerry (Michelle) Enders, Tim (Jak Yeong) Enders, Corrina (Tim) Shaule, Connie Kutz and Rory Radcliffe; greatgrandchildren Kayla, Jared, and Seth Enders, Travis and Cameron Kutz, and Syan and Tamara Shaule. She also leaves behind sisters Emma and Esther, and brothers John and Allin. Also left are many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by husband Charlie (1994), brother George, and sisters Clara and Alice.

Mom was born at James River Bridge, AB and spent her early years on the farm with the family in central Alberta (Olds and Sundre). When she started school she couldn’t speak a word of English as she had been raised in a German household. The family moved to Tomahawk, AB where she met Dad for the first time. She was sitting on the gate by the road when Dad drove his steam engine by (part of a threshing crew) and blew the whistle. He fell in love with that girl that fell to the ground and their marriage lasted for 47 years.

In recent years Mom has enjoyed residing at Kensington Shepherd’s Care where she is known for giving great hugs. Her passion in later life has been watching sports. Her beloved Oilers and Blue Jays brought her much satisfaction.
