<div itemprop="description">Merv Goeson, a resident of St. Albert, Alberta passed away peacefully on June 14th, 2016, 3 weeks after his 98th birthday on May 17th.<br>Merv is survived by his son Neil (Beryl), daughter Kathy (Everett) Lewis, 4 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.<br>He is predeceased by his wife Betty, parents George and Amy Goeson, daughter-in-law Hilda Goeson, and 7 siblings.<br>A Memorial will be held for Merv on Friday, June 24th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Road in Edmonton. Cremation has taken place. <br>Merv’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. LaBuick and the staff at the Youville Home in St. Albert, as well as Diane Houston and the residents at Mission Hill Village in St. Albert.<br>Memorial Donations may be made to the Green House Fund at the Youville Home, 9A St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert T8N 1K1.<br></div>
