Jim’s wife Shirley, son Sheldon, daughter-in-law Jenny Adams, and grandchildren Pavel James and Jozef Sasha were his heart. He was immensely proud of each one of them.
Jim passed away having found his calling in working with seniors through his franchise with Driving Miss Daisy. His compassion and dedication to the safety and comfort of his clients was evident in the admiration expressed by the seniors and persons with disabilities he served. It was a meaningful and rewarding experience for Jim working with Shirley over the last four years in a vocation he loved.
Jim strived passionately to honour truth, fairness, and integrity in his business dealings and his personal life. His quick sense of humour and loyalty will be missed deeply by his family, friends, and adoring clients.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard & McBride Funeral Chapel, 16310 Stony Plain Road. 780-484-5500.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made in Jim’s honour to a charity of one’s choice.
Please note the following announcement:
West Edmonton Driving Miss Daisy will be reduced to partial service temporarily to allow for a mourning period for the loss of Shirley’s husband Jim. West Edmonton Driving Miss Daisy looks forward to resuming full service early in the new year.
Cindy will be contacting clients regarding partial service schedules.
