<div itemprop="description">Anne Marie LeMesurier (nee Zuk )<br>October 6, 1929- January 11, 2017<br>It with sadness that we announce that Anne (Anna) passed away peacefully in her sleep, and yet it is with celebration that she went to be with the Lord. Anne was raised in Cherhill Alberta, worked teaching school in Lac La Biche, Worked at CKUA radio station in Edmonton, Anne worked at the Gold mine in Yellowknife & also worked in Fort Churchill and settled in Winnipeg in 1963 with her husband Ivan. Anne would return to Edmonton, where she resided since 1976. Anne suffered a stroke in 1989, and had been in a care facility since. In spite of not being able to speak, Anne communicated through touch, her eyes and hugs. <br>Anne was predeceased by her father Dymytro Zuk, her mother Stefania Podilchuk, her half-brother Steven ( Ray) Switlick, her sister Mary Melanius, She is survived by her sister Kay, her ex-husband Ivan, her sons Rob (Connie), Lawrence (Tracey), Tom (Michelle) & Five grandchildren, Jessie, Jonathan, James, Rebekah & Corbin. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Shepherds Care, Kensington Village for all the years of love and care, and treating Anne like family. We know she was truly loved there. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation. <br></div>
