It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joy Anne Dryden (Switzer) on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the age of 65.
Joy enjoyed gardening, travelling, cooking, baking and reading. She loved to make special birthday dinners for her kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Joy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Russ; daughter Danyelle (Brent); son Chris (Tamara); grandchildren Samantha, Caiden, Leeland, Karsyn, Emily and Jack; sister Jan (Don) and brother Garry (Cheryl) as well as many extended family and friends.
Joy was predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Clara and grandson Gavyn.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday June 22, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. at the Jasper Place Legion, 10427 - 174 St NW in Edmonton, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or the Stollery Children's Hospital.
