Clarence John Kadyk
April 2, 1942 – August 30, 2013
Clarence passed away at the age of 71 due to a short bout with cancer and pneumonia.
He was predeceased by his parents, Metro and Lena Kadyk.
He was divorced but is survived by his siblings, Malvina (Bill) Smith, Melvyn (Bernice) Kadyk, Andy (Connie) Kadyk, Dwain (Dian) Kadyk and Martin (Lynn) Kadyk and 13 nieces and nephews and their children as well as one Uncle, Bill (Betty) Koshman and 4 aunts: Jessie Sikora, Mary Lotoski, Kathy (Bill) Harper and Verna (Vic) Zavadiuk and many cousins. Other cousins include Bill Kobyluk, Lorne Solila, Evelyn and Leroy Solila.
He spent many years in Alberta and B.C. in the lumber industry as an estimator.
He enjoyed skiing, racquetball, hockey, trail riding in Banff, football, and really enjoyed anoeing, especially his trip on the Nahanni River.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the staff and all those connected to Meadowlark Place, his home for the last 6 years until August 22, when he entered the hospital. We, also wish to thank the staff on the seventh floor, west at the Misericordia Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at Westlawn Funeral Chapel, 16310 Stony Plain Road, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2013.
